Spider-Man: Far from Home

Spidey heads to Europe in action-packed superhero sequel.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Spider-Man: Far From Home is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. Peter Parker (Tom Holland) continues to balance life as a teen and a superhero with the help and guidance of his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). When his high school class plans a summer trip to Europe, Peter decides to leave the heroics at home to focus on his friendships with Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya). But Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has other plans, recruiting Spider-Man to help battle huge, dangerous creatures attacking the European continent, along with a new villain, Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). The Marvel universe can be violent and action-packed, but the movies are usually appropriate for mature tweens and teens. Homecoming movie was one of the tamer ones, with no too much swearing or romance. But you can likely expect some flirting between Peter and MJ here, as well as a bit more action violence.
